Our digital season comes to a climactic finale with the world premiere of The Passion of St. Cecilia by noted Houston composer Mark Buller. This vivid retelling of the legend of St. Cecilia, patron saint of music and musicians, is truly A Time to Draw Closer as for the first time this season we sing together on stage joined by our great friends, Apollo Chamber Players.
Additionally, the virtual concert includes a new recording and video production of The Road Home by Stephen Paulus, a past favorite performance video, and a behind the scene conversation about the creation and premiere of The Passion of St. Cecilia with the composer Mark Buller, librettist Charles Anthony Silvestri and the artistic directors of the Houston Chamber Choir and Apollo Chamber Players.
